3 day Excursion Itinerary : From Ouarzazat to Desert
day 1 : Ouarzazat (atlas studio) - kasbah taourirt - Agdz - zagora
Embarek your Morocco tour by exploring Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa." Begin with a visit to the famous Kasbah Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcasing traditional Moroccan architecture. Then to the atlas studio where many famous movies filmed.
After lunch, continue your journey through the Draa Valley, a region famous for its endless palm groves and traditional Berber villages. As you pass through Agdz, take in the stunning views of the valley, dotted with ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Zagora by evening, where you'll spend the night in a riad or hotel.
day 2 : Tissergate - ancient Quranic library - camel trekking - golden sunset - traditional desert camp
on the second day After breakfast, visit the historic town of Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Explore the ancient Ksar of Tissergate, a fortified village that offers insight into traditional Berber life. Next, head to Tamegroute, known for its unique green pottery and its ancient Quranic library, where you can see centuries-old manuscripts.
In the afternoon, venture deeper into the desert by starting your camel trekking adventure. through the stunning dunes and watch the landscape transform under the golden sunset. Arrive at a traditional desert camp, where you'll enjoy and spent the overnight under the stars, with music, dancing, and a traditional Moroccan dinner.
day 3 : zagora - magical sunrise over the desert dunes - local markets - Agdz - back to ouarzazat
on the last day of your 3 days tour from ouarzazat to zagora , we will recomand you to wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the desert dunes, then enjoy a hearty breakfast . after that Ride camels back to Zagora and begin your journey back to Ouarzazate. Along the way, stop to further explore the Draa Valley, known for its rich history and beautiful oases.
Take in panoramic views of the valley, visit local markets, and explore more hidden kasbahs along the road . Enjoy lunch in Agdz before continuing through the scenic landscapes. and then Arrive in Ouarzazate where we will drop you off at you acomidation, and by that the endinning of your morocco tour.
